The Net
will assign a separate dialup lines for "Unlimited Light" users. And to make
this service available and satisfactory to more users, The Net will try to maintain a port
to users ratio of 1:5 and implement an acceptable usage policy. All login will have a
maximum continuous session of 5 hours. Users can reconnect after 15 mins. The Net system
may disable these restriction if the system/resource usage is light.
When a user dials in to The Net Unlimited
Light Account, they are accessing a modem which is part of a larger pool of modems. This
pool of modems is a shared resource between all of the users of The Net Unlimited Light
users. With historical usage data, and live pool monitoring, The Net engineers its modem
pools to fit the usage patterns of its customers at a high Quality of Service (QOS).
As a shared resource, it is intended for those
that are using the connection actively. When not active, unlimited light accounts should
be logged off. Inactive unlimited light account connections to this shared resource deny
other users the availability of that modem port for the purpose of active connectivity to
the internet.
The Net Unlimited Light account is intended
for a single connection at a time. Multiple logins at the same time by the same
account are not permitted. Users who utilize an unlimited account to connect for
more than 200 hours per month are advise to subscribe to The Net’s standard unlimited
plan which will better meets their usage requirements. This will also prevent denying
other "Unlimited Light" users access to shared modem pool resources. The Net
reserves the right to disconnect anyone who is abusing the courtesy of this shared
resource.
